Accountability

So we put our own fee on the line.

Run the algorithms for a year. If you're not satisfied, you can claw back what you paid us, and the more capital you put to work, the more you can recover, scaling up to a full 100% refund. It backs our fee, not your trading results.

A conditional 12-month accountability commitment covering your software fee only, not trading profits or losses, which are never guaranteed. Full terms are set out in your signed license agreement and walked through on your call.

Questions worth asking.

How hands-on is this for me?
Almost entirely hands-off. We handle the brokerage connection, the strategy configuration, and the day-to-day execution. You allocate capital, approve the setup, and watch the dashboard. There's nothing for you to actively manage. No orders to place, no rebalancing to run.
Who's actually watching the algorithms?
Maxwell Hines: 10+ years in markets, 7 inside major institutions including AllianceBernstein. Algorithms execute the systematic rules, but a portfolio manager is actively monitoring positions, risk metrics, and market conditions in real time. This isn't unsupervised code.
Where does my money actually sit?
In your own account at a US SEC/FINRA-regulated brokerage, in your name. Vector connects via API to execute trades. We never hold, transfer, or have withdrawal access to your funds. You can revoke API access from your brokerage at any time, and positions remain as-is in your account.
Is my capital at risk?
Yes. All trading involves risk, including potential loss of principal. That's true with any investment approach. Vector's strategies include built-in risk controls (position limits, stop-losses, drawdown profiles), but no system eliminates market risk. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Only allocate capital you can afford to lose.
How is this different from a robo-advisor?
Robo-advisors are mostly index funds with auto-rebalancing, a digital wrapper on a static 60/40 allocation. Vector's strategies are active, systematic, and overseen by a real portfolio manager, using the same class of systems sophisticated institutions use internally.
Is Vector Capital a financial advisor?
No. Vector Capital is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or fiduciary. We provide algorithmic trading software and strategy execution via API. Nothing on this site is an offer, solicitation, or recommendation to invest. You should consult your own financial, legal, and tax advisors before making any investment decisions. You maintain full control of your brokerage account at all times.
What's the fee, and what's the minimum?
Flat fee: no percentage of assets, no performance fees, no exit fees. Minimum capital is $80,000. Exact pricing is walked through in your session against the strategies you're considering. Standard brokerage commissions through your brokerage are separate.
Can I see performance and methodology before committing?
Yes. Backtesting methodology, historical and live performance data, and risk metrics are reviewed in full during your session. Once onboarded, your dashboard shows live activity in real time, not a quarterly PDF.
